WANTED: Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper

We are a leading education service provider based in Singapore that provides high quality lessons to thousands of students island-wide.

The ideal candidate is expected to possess outstanding administrative capabilities, communication skills, superb organizational skills to assist the Accounts Manager in the daily administrative and accounting/bookkeeping duties of the organization.

Working Hours and Days:
Full-time basis – 8 hours a day, 5 days/week (Tues to Sat)
Working hours – 9:00am to 6:00pm (1 hour unpaid break)

Your Responsibilities Includes:

- Preparation of full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and fixed assets schedule
- Accounts Data entry and preparation of financial statements
- Maintain the accounting records of AR, AP and Cash/Bank books
- Booking of expenses and claims for AP and raising payment for approval
- Handling of month end closing, including journals, AP, AR, GL and financial statements
- Other ad hoc duties as requested


The Ideal Candidate:

- Has minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with experience with Quickbooks and/or Xero
- Has advanced excel skills
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and able to work with deadlines
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal direction given
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs Editors suite
