We are a growing website company looking for an experienced email relay Server Technician Linux centos
We would like our email server setup and maintained.
Maintain and monitor end-user workstations and productivity on local area network. Perform a variety of maintenance, software installation, end-user support and training tasks to ensure end-user workstations and network performance meet company and user requirements. Provide support to staff on all company-supported applications and devices. Troubleshoot technology problems, determine source and advise on appropriate action. Complete project-based work. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and setup of vps email server in godaddy is the most important quality we are looking for
Investigate user problems and identify their source; determine possible solutions;test and implement solutions.
Install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks, workstations, device and work ticket systems; add or upgrade and configure disk drives, printers and related equipment.
Perform software and application installation and upgrades.
Conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems and other applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-user on the network.
Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
Provide computer orientation to new and existing computer staff.
Maintain records, log and reports of assistance.
Create and update articles in IT knowledgebase system.
Creating, adding & removing domains & hosting, setting up SMTP relays, general troubleshooting issues, providing tech support internally & to our clients. Managing Cpanels, Managing a Godaddy linux vps server.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
HDI Desktop Support Technician Certification(DHI - DST) required within 6 months of hire date.
Basic knowledge of and experience troubleshooting:
TCP/ IP LAN / WN Networking
Common computer hardware and peripherals
Windows server and Active Directory
MS Windows XP - Windows 7
Apple iOS devices
MS Office and other business applications
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Creative problem-solving ability
Performance driven
Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities based on changing business needs.
