Content Manager/Editor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and savvy Content Editor to handle our content publishing requirements in a fast-paced work environment. We're looking to hire an awesome Content Writer & Editor with experience using AI writing software to join our fully remote company.

This talented individual will be in charge of content creation and will play a key role in helping develop our overall content marketing strategy. To be successful in this position, the editor will need to maximize the use of SurferSEO, Frase, and other tools to perform topic research and craft engaging, industry-specific content tailored to reach specific audiences.

You'll need to research the topic and determine what the outline should be, you will edit and proofread what AI produces to make sure the final article is error-free and sounds human-written.

**Who we are looking for:**

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Content Editor or similar role. A portfolio of published content is required.
- Native English speaker with perfect grammar, detail-oriented copyediting, fact-checking, and cohesive formatting.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with publishing on WordPress.
- Rephrasing written text to ensure document structure and content are consistent.
- Must be familiar with creating content optimized for SEO and conversions
- Understands search intent and how to select appropriate subheadings
- Have experience using Surfer SEO, Frase, Grammarly, etc.
- Knowledge of Topical Maps, organizing content in Pillars and Clusters.
- Content audits, updates, organizing, and optimizing posts.
- Photo editing (Canva)

**Responsibilities:**

- AI Generating and Editing articles for SEO optimization (Internal linking, Images, and Anchor Texts), including proofreading & fact-checking for errors and inconsistencies before publication.
- Ensuring content consistency, including formatting, headings, fonts, images, and tone.
- Create graphics (via Canvas/Shutterstock) and videos to accompany articles.
- Staging blog posts on WordPress.
- Update the content management spreadsheet
