JOB OVERVIEW

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We're seeking a Data Analyst to join our performance marketing agency specializing in paid social, Google Ads, performance creative, and email marketing for e-commerce brands.

This role will be responsible for building and maintaining end-to-end reporting infrastructure — including conversion tracking, data pipelines, and Looker Studio dashboards — across brands we support as an agency. You’ll work within our modern data stack, which includes BigQuery, SQL, Google Cloud, and Windsor.ai as our primary ingestion and warehousing tools.

You will work directly with our Growth Leadership team. The successful candidate will report to our Director of Growth and collaborate closely with our Senior Growth Managers.

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, highly analytical, experienced with SQL-driven data workflows, and excited about bringing structure and insights to a fast-paced performance marketing environment.

CORE TASKS:

Building and maintaining reports and dashboards (leveraging existing templates) through Google Looker Studio connected directly to BigQuery.

Owning and expanding our data infrastructure using BigQuery, SQL, Google Cloud, and Windsor.ai (or similar ingestion tools).

Auditing, troubleshooting, and setting up pixel and conversion tracking across Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Tag Manager, and various ecommerce platforms.

Setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting data feeds through Google Merchant Center and feed tools like DataFeedWatch.

Ensuring proper UTM strategy and tracking hygiene, as well as onboarding and maintaining data flows for third-party attribution platforms like Triple Whale and Northbeam.

Supporting the Growth team with ongoing reporting tasks by pulling data, identifying trends, surfacing insights, and helping troubleshoot performance drops across accounts.

Building clean, reliable, and scalable datasets to support weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc client reporting.

MUST-HAVE:

2+ years experience in reporting, data analysis, or data visualization (performance marketing or ecommerce experience strongly preferred).

Strong SQL skills — ability to write and optimize queries, work with nested data, clean/join datasets, and transform raw marketing data into analysis-ready tables.

Experience working within BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).

Experience setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking for Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads via GTM, Shopify, and native ad platform tools.

Solid understanding of Google Analytics (GA4) and data visualization platforms, especially Looker Studio.

Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including formula building, data manipulation, and light modeling.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Genuine interest in ecommerce, DTC brands, and performance marketing.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

Experience with Windsor.ai or other ETL/ELT data pipeline tools.

Familiarity with regex, query languages, or additional cloud tools (Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, dbt, etc.).

Proficiency with Google Merchant Center, DataFeedWatch, or similar product feed tools.

Experience working with Shopify stores or ecommerce brands in a performance marketing context.

Experience with third-party attribution tools like Triple Whale or Northbeam.

Comfort working in or adjacent to performance marketing agencies.

GROW-INTO:

Taking full ownership of client-facing reporting — synthesizing insights, identifying trends, and shaping high-level narratives for Slack/weekly/monthly reporting cycles.

Driving deeper analysis across accounts and channels, and proactively surfacing strategic recommendations.

Helping scale and mature our data infrastructure, including automation opportunities, dashboard standardization, and ongoing warehouse optimization.
