Oh Hello! We are a creative branding and digital marketing agency that helps our clients turn strangers into loyal fans by solving complicated problems through design and creative thinking. Oh Hello is looking for a result-driven, ambitious Sales Intern who is ready to learn isn't afraid to fail, and has a can-do approach to problem-solving.
About the role:
The Oh Hello Internship program is a 6 months program that offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of sales and branding and digital marketing through an immersive experience.
At Oh Hello, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact and really do work that matters. We will fully immerse you in the field and not just make you do busy work. You will join a highly experienced, motivated, and collaborative sales team where your ideas will be solicited and valued. You will receive mentoring from our experienced team to guide you as you focus on generating incremental business over the phone using virtual technologies, including online internet-based meeting platforms, sales automation software, and more.
Don't worry if you have no prior sales experience, we will train you and set you up for success!
Who We’re Looking For:
You’re a natural-born salesperson. You’re likely an extrovert who feels extremely comfortable striking up conversations with strangers and you love building relationships. You’re resilient and willing to deal with “NO” because you know it’s really just one step closer to YES. Picking up the phone to cold call a company doesn’t scare you, it excites you!
Work Environment:
Remote internship with mentorship from senior leadership
~25 hrs a week (flexible schedule between 8 AM - 4 PM CST/ minimum of 5 hours a day)
Responsibilities and Job Duties
Become familiar with the industry landscape
Identify and create new qualified opportunities with the Sales Team
Assist in targeted cold calling
Create warm lead-calling strategies
Support in the creation of sales support documentation
Participate in account research
Draft quote sheets for Sales Directors
Initiate customer service follow-up calls
Program Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years old at the time of start
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Must be available to work P/T for the entire duration of the program
Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours a day between 8 AM - 4 PM Central Standard Time
Must be able to commit to the full 6 months of the internship program
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university, obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s, or have just graduated within the last year.
Must have a headset and reliable internet connection (15mbps or above)
Qualifications and Skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Detail oriented
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Proven ability to work independently
Self-motivated
Proven ability to work well in team environments
Desire to learn and interest in the Sales industry
Enjoy interacting with new people
Leadership experience in extracurricular activities
Optional Qualifications
Prior internship experience
Experience in the branding and digital marketing industry
