Virtual US Tax Preparer

ABOUT THE JOB:
VAR is looking for the next SUPERSTAR for our client. A caring, well-rounded tea ---------- mber with drive & passion for adding value and being a part of a growing company.
We are searching for a Virtual Tax Preparer, with proficient English and a good command of technology to join the team.

What we look for:
- Someone who has at least 2 years of tax/accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Someone who has at least 2 years of Lacerte experience
- Someone who has at least 2 years of experience working in a US company/business
- Proficient in English (Oral & written)
- Excellent communication
- Part-time availability but can be full-time (20-40 hours per week)
- Capable of working from Monday to Friday, 9am PST onwards
- Able to start immediately
- Has computer/Laptop
- Has at least 20mbps internet speed

An ideal candidate is/has:

- Proactive

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Understand general U.S. tax law
- Read and understand forms W-2's, 1099's, various schedules, etc.
- Experience with tax forms: 1040, 1120, 1065, etc.
- Sort through client documents to obtain data for the tax returns
