Small Fish Business Coaching is a business coaching company for trades business owners and builders. We are a growing team in Australia and are looking for a Sell By Chat Person to join our sales department.
Job Description
We are looking for an amazing Sell By Chat person who can help us connect with and screen candidates into our program using the method of SBC (Sell By Chat).
This person will also do some light administrative work for us as well. Which would include managing the distribution of content across our platforms and updating events within our CRM. We will train you in these areas as well.
SBC involves reaching out to potential customers on all of our Social Media channels and building a relationship with them with the goal to triage them into a Sales Call.
We’ll train you on our Sell By Chat process which will include script training, language specifics for our clientele and the exact process for identifying prospects who would be the right fit for our coaching program, The Tradies Toolbox.
Your job will be to reach out to new prospects daily, nurture already-formed relationships as well reply to incoming messages and comments on all social platforms with the single goal of triaging prospective clients into sales calls.
You will also be following up anyone who has put a hand up to speak with us but has not acted on this. Then you will schedule only qualified candidates onto the calendar of our sales coaches.
You should have a track record in one or more of the following areas: social media marketing and sales, prospecting, qualifying sales opportunities and administrative roles.
You should feel comfortable working online (using tools like Zoom, Ontraport, social media platforms, Justcall, and planning software), have strong Internet, and have a quiet work environment from which to work. You must have a knack for online chatting and sales through chat as well as a love for conversation. You need to be sharp and a quick responder - this is a vital part of the role.
This role is specifically about having genuine conversations with marketing leads with the goal to build trust and triage them using chat into calls with our sales reps.

Requirements
Strong Internet connection
Excellent written and spoken English
Great communication skills especially through chat platforms

Expected Results
Reach out to 50 new leads a day
Convert 50 conversations to sales calls per week
Leads messaged within 6-12 hours of responding
Respond to more general DM inquiries within 12 - 24 hours (on FB, email, SMS, or by IG / FB Messenger)
Daily follow up with all leads
Daily reporting on chat starts, responses and conversation outcomes.
