Sr. Full Stack Developer

Type of Position: Full Time
Working Hours: 9AM to 6PM Pacific Time Monday to Friday

Summary

We are a small digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to lead our development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background building websites, web-based applications, and API's.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive websites for our clients from provided designs (in Figma, Photoshop, etc.).
• Build websites using our promotions platform (PHP, MySQL) and 3rd party tools (such as ---------- and WordPress).
• Develop and maintain new SaaS applications for our clients’ and internal use.
• Optimize sites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance, secure systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Test, debug and optimize applications to ensure they are running smoothly.
• Refactor, update, and optimize old code.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Computer science degree.
• Minimum 5 years programming experience including JavaScript frameworks, PHP, & SQL.
• Excellent coding skills:
o HTML & CSS frameworks
o JavaScript & Vue JS
o PHP and Laravel
o MySQL
o Docker
o Composer
o Git
• Experience in developing and consuming Restful APIs.
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Implement best coding and security practices.
• Design, build and maintain reliable, clean, documented, high performance code.
• Excellent programming, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to work well alone and on small teams.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!).
• A positive and friendly attitude.

Pluses

• UX/UI design knowledge.
• Python (Django) experience.
• AWS experience.
• WordPress website development experience.
