Video Editor for social media contents

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team. As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage for social media marketing (reels, short-form and long-form videos), applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the company.

Starting Salary: $800 AUD
Work Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM PHT
Yes, this is a long-term position



Video Editor Responsibilities:

Meeting with the fitness coach to determine production vision.
Review raw material to determine the shot list.
Turning raw videos into quality reels for social media posting
Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
Consulting with the creative and production team throughout the project.
Creating the final cut for launching.
Ability to edit long-forms content and turn it into short forms (Alex Hormozi style)


Video Editor Requirements:

Excellent command of the English language is necessary.

Previous work experience as a video editor is a MUST.

Hands-on experience with editing software, either Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.

Creative and artistic skills.

Attention to detail is a must.

Familiarity with 2D or 3D composition and special effects is a plus!

Portfolio of completed film productions.

Ability to work on a tight schedule.
