Video Editor (YouTube & TikTok)

Looking for a rockstar video editor who would be able to edit short form content (for TikTok and reels) as well as long form content (YouTube videos) and transforming long form content into short form bits for repurposing.

We are looking to start a YouTube channel and are filming content for batch editing. We are needing a rockstar editor who has experience editing videos. Video content and types vary between interviews, lifestyle vlogs, property tours, neighborhood tours, informational videos, as well as shorter ads to be posted on social media (Facebook, TikTok, instagram, YouTube).

Video lengths would vary between 2 mins for short form platforms and ads to max 1 hour for interview style videos. Average length would be around 7-12 minutes.

Ideal candidate will have access to royalty free music and royalty free b roll content. Must have knowledge on copyrights to make sure we do not infringe on any existing rights.

Ideal candidate will have ability to optimize YouTube posts and search against SEO rankings to ensure that videos are optimized to be ---------- itially, we would have approximately 16 long form videos that need to be edited and on an ongoing basis there will be 1-3 long form videos.

We would love to hire a creative mind who can create short form videos out of the long form content and repurpose it for other channels (TikTok, Facebook, instagram reels).

English proficiency a must. We are open to considering applicants who are willing to get paid on a per video basis as opposed to hourly as well. Our goal is to find an invaluable member of our team who would be able to come on board full time as well.
