Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Overview:
PHYREM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in PHP web development and be proficient in the CodeIgniter framework. This individual will have a passion for clean, well-designed code and be able to troubleshoot and optimize core product software. The Senior PHP/CodeIgniter Developer will also have experience with IoT products and solutions, and be familiar with AWS and Docker technology.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in PHP web development
• Expert knowledge of CodeIgniter framework
• Unit testing experience
• IoT product and solution experience
• AWS experience (preferred)
• Docker experience (preferred)
• Mobile development experience (preferred)
• 5 days a week work schedule

Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (CodeIgniter)
• Node Js is a plus
• In-depth understanding of MVC design patterns
• Thorough understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Strong knowledge of common PHP and web server exploits and their solutions
• User authentication and authorization experience
• Third-party API integration and implementation
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• SQL/MySQL database and query language knowledge
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software

Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with development and web/app development teams during the creative process
• Provide technical expertise and ensure successful implementation of client projects
• Communicate with employees, web/app developers, and partners to ensure technical solutions are properly architected and specified
• Review code for quality assurance purposes
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for engagements
• Collaborate with project managers and web/app developers to manage client relationships
• Turn design and user interface mockups into functional platforms
