JOB OVERVIEW

Stratus Financial, LLC is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist with a Customer Service background to join our team. You will help us use web technologies to achieve our business growth goals. You will identify needs and new opportunities and aspire to increase brand awareness. Ultimately, you should be able to effectively connect our brand with our online customers.

At Stratus, we believe in helping aspiring student pilots at all levels of experience and training achieve their dreams of flight. We do this by providing loans at reasonable rates and flexible payment plans to students who want to become pilots, flight instructors, etc.

This position will be responsible for:

- Proven experience in content publishing, social media management, and graphic design
- Assist with content research and help come up with post ideas
- Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Help create an online voice or image that is desirable and reaches the targeted demographic
- Must be creative, consistent, systematic, and organized
- High attention to detail (images, formatting, caption, line spacing, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Stay up to date with the latest social media and industry best practices and technologies
- Communicate with the target audience via social media to create a strong network
- Ability to identify, report and track relevant metrics
- Copywriting skills aren’t required but are a PLUS.

Skills:

• English: BUSINESS WRITING SKILLS
• Social Media expertise using U.S. social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
• Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics
• Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices
• For this position, you should be creative and comfortable working with a team.
• You should have excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of SEO best practices.

Job type

The ideal candidate will also have experience working remotely in a fully-online environment as well as the time management skills required for this role (which includes being able to work independently without much supervision).

Work Schedule

8 am to 5 pm PST, Mondays thru Fridays
