Insurance Verification Specialist and Appointment Setter for a Physical Therapy Clinic in California:

Job Overview:
The Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage and eligibility, communicating with insurance providers and patients to ensure accurate billing, and managing insurance-related documentation for a physical therapy clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
-Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for physical therapy services
-Communicate with insurance providers and patients to ensure accurate billing and payment
-Keep up-to-date on changes to insurance policies and regulations
-Maintain accurate and organized insurance-related documentation, including patient records and billing statements
-Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
-Demonstrate ability to maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy
-Communicate with patients regarding appointment details, including location, time, and preparation instructions
-Follow up with patients regarding missed or cancelled appointments
-Maintain accurate and organized scheduling records and patient information
-Run reports to ensure audit compliance with billing, notes, insurance requirements
-Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
-Prior experience in US medical billing and insurance verification.
-Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and billing procedures
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
