MS Access / VB

Australian database development and support company requires a highly professional MS ACCESS programmer who is available for at least 8 hours a day 5 days a week.

REQUIREMENTS

a) Able to program in MS Access.
You must be able to demonstrate this and show examples of your work.

b) Able to read and follow specifications.
We will give you a test to ensure that you can do this.

c) Use the templates that we will provide.
We have a formula for developing applications and you must follow this.

d) Honest, hard-working and reliable
We will expect you to produce results in a timely manner

e) Online from at least 12pm GMT+10.
We are GMT+10 and work 10am to 6pm core hours.

f) Professional
We will expect regular reporting and high quality / bug-free code. Quality is very important to us!

g) Reliable
Please do not apply if you have already got a full time job or many Odesk contracts. This is a fulltime job and requires you to commit to at least 6 hours every weekday

THE JOB

We will provide you with:
* A template application so that you just need to copy and modify the code to suit
* A functional specification
* Coding standards and UI guidelines
* Explanation of version numbering
* A tester for you to work with to ensure the product meets the spec and is bug free
You will provide us with:
* Regular updates on progress (daily)
* Regular releases (after each screen)
* Feedback on the spec and any other aspects of the system / organisation
