Be our first high-performing Web developer/Web designer!

We are looking for a skilled web developer/web designer to join our team. We want to onboard someone who is passionate about web development, eager to learn and grow, and excited to find new ways to improve our processes.
The ideal candidate should be creative, collaborative, and a great communicator, with at least a few years of experience in creating websites and/or designing website elements, infographics, reports/white papers, and other materials. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies. You’ll balance a multitude of projects & tasks, and your day-to-day life will be constantly changing and evolving. Understand current SEO algorithms and stay up-to-date with trends or changes in SEO.

About the Company:
Speck Eye care is the name of our company. This is a digital healthcare startup that plans to bring eye care to rural areas. We are in the development stage of business creation. Currently we are building the infrastructure of our first digital health clinic. We will use this pilot program to research best practices in digital Ophthalmology. Responsibilities:

• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Write clean, well-organized, and maintainable code
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure that web applications are bug-free and functioning well
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities


Qualifications:

• Proven working experience in web programming
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, or JavaScript
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• BS in computer science or a related field, suggested but not required

Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps Wired connection
Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
