About the role
The Project Assistant will work with the Operations team to provide assistance with project administration tasks.
About you
Someone with a few years of experience, as long as you have good communication skills and are enthusiastic and willing to
- Excellent communication, presentation and personal skills
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior business executives
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, be proactive, and deal effectively with changes and uncertainty.
- Reliability, organisational skills, and adaptability will be essential.
Responsibilities
- Work with Operations Manager and tea
- Execute project tasks using Jira and other project management tools, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
- Posting content to the website and various social media pages, our app, etc.
- Converting content into different formats, e.g. video, podcast, blogs, etc
- Administering / tracking the content production process
- Providing support to community members as well as course students.
- Administration of the user base and platform to ensure we deliver good service.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, standard operating procedures and other project-related materials
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project deliverables.
- Regular management reporting.
Qualifications and experience
- Excellent communication skills, especially in written English
- Good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
- Good social media skills (mainly
- Basic Photoshop editing
- Basic data manipulation - Excel
- Basic knowledge of WordPress / HTML
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
The following skills would be useful but are not essential and will not need to do all in the first month. The list is just to give an idea of the types of work you would be doing:
- Knowledge of communication tools, e.g. Zoom,
- Previous experience with CRM or
- Experience with “Agile” ways of working, e.g. Sprints, stand-ups, Kanban boards etc
- Experience with project management software, e.g. MS Planner, Asana, Trello etc
- Experience with corporate “Wiki” style documentation tools, e.g. Confluence and Jira
- Experience with help desk / ticketing systems such as HelpScout, Zendesk or equivalents.
