AWS/Linux Course Maintainer

We are an EdTech Company located in the US and we are looking for a AWS/Linux Course Maintainer. We are looking for a person who is passionate about technology and is a lifelong learner.

The AWS/Linux course maintainer position is an essential role within Yellow Tail Tech! as you are helping the company keep content up to date and providing fundamental knowledge to our ---------- this role, you will maintain and develop modules and labs to support our teaching programs in a virtual classroom format. This role involves collaborating with Teachers, Teacher Assistants (TA's) and course developers to find innovative ways to help our students keep up with new AWS UI releases and services.

This is a full-time and long-term position, your full attention and dedication is highly needed. Must be able to put in your 8 hours between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST as we are located on the East Coast of the US.

Responsibilities:
Periodically Review existing demo videos to see if app specific UI updates have been made
Update demo videos if needed
Learn about new features and services that impact the course
Keep track of changes to different technologies (AWS, Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
Contribute to the creation of new modules and workshops

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year knowledge/exposure with AWS
Minimum 1 year knowledge/exposure with Linux
Clear and effective communication in American English
Ability to write documentation
Ability to record and edit short how to videos
Passionate about helping others learn
Detail-oriented
Easily available and responsive
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to obtain tech certifications periodically


Additional Job Details:
Expect you to work at least 40 hours weekly.
Paid Bi-weekly
Must have a working computer.
Must be willing to learn the business.
Must download Slack.
Able to use Asana.
