Bookkeeper

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, recording transactions, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational and communication skills and a proven track record of accurate and timely record-keeping.

This is a Full Time position, working from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, Adelaide time.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and receipts
• Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable and receivable
• Producing monthly financial reports and statements
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Conducting audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero or MYOB
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite programs
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary paid in biweekly instalments, amount to be discussed
• 13th month payment, paid half yearly
• An additional paid RDO every month
