WordPress/ Website Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer/Website Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of website development and WordPress CMS. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, as well as ensuring their functionality and performance.

Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining WordPress websites using industry-standard practices
Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers to build custom websites
Creating and customizing WordPress plugins and themes
Troubleshooting website issues and resolving them in a timely manner
Ensuring website optimization for speed and performance
Ensuring website security and implementing best practices to prevent potential hacks
Staying up to date with the latest WordPress and website development trends and technologies
Managing website backups, updates, and maintenance


Requirements:

2+ years of experience in WordPress or other related development
Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Familiarity with WordPress CMS and plugin development
Familiarity with other CMS such as Squarespace/Shopify
Experience with responsive design and development
Experience with website performance optimization techniques
A google friend
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
