Position Summary:
We are looking for highly organized and detailed-oriented candidates with excellent people skills for our Reservations Representative position. This candidate will be responsible for providing various planning and booking services, including answering customers’ questions, making travel suggestions, and booking rooms. The best candidate for our Reservations Representative will have tremendous patience when dealing with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills. Additionally, you should be able to up-sell and have excellent knowledge of deals and savings available to customers.
Responsibilities:
Confirm reservations booked online with guests by phone in order to ensure understanding and adherence to call rental policies and guest satisfaction.
Assist guests with their current reservations.
Ensure that guests receive appropriate service and issues are being addressed and developed with the right tea
Actively listen to and resolve complaints and focus on guest retention.
Follow company procedures on conflict resolution and escalation protocols.
Process daily reservation reports and review terms and conditions.
Ensure special guests, like disabled people, the elderly, children, and VIPs, receive personalized
Offer suggestions to guests that are looking for local activities and recommendations and build policies around how to improve our concierge services.
Cold call previous guests and inquiries for reservations.
Providing support to guests who may need to amend or change reservations prior to arrival
Payment processing and sending confirmation details to guests
Skills:
Proven experience as a Customer Service Manager, Hotel Manager, Resort Manager, Guest Relations Manager, or Account Manager.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Office Suite, and Hotel/Vacation Rental Management Software (PMS)
Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
A creative mind with the ability to create and execute strategy
Enjoys traveling and staying at Vacation Rentals
Sales experience preferred
Cold calling experience preferred
Requirements:
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
Ability to work: Thur-Mon:11:00am-7:00pm CST (subject to change)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in the utilization of Google Office Suite.
Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
Excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to get along with a diverse population.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
