JOB OVERVIEW

WORK SCHEDULE
Forty-eight (48) hours per week; Shifting (24/7 operations)
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible to render medical services for the benefit of the employees of (Client).
KEY TASKS
1. Services
Ø Effectively maintain and provide the highest level of medical and primary emergency care in emergency cases for all personnel at the designated site in line with clinical guidelines, i.e immediate response (to activate the first aid team, and go immediately to scene of accident), scene assessment (to determine if the place of incident is safe for first aider, patient and bystander), patient assessment (to identify priorities or general impression and life threatening conditions) and management early recognition of injury or illness.
Ø Establish mutual support contact and assistance with the local hospitals, medical suppliers, and other local agencies that will support client site’s clinical service management.
Ø Deliver high quality CPR and institute First Aid measures appropriately.
Ø Operate and maintain designated medical facility (clinic) as per standards operating procedure.
2. OH&S
Ø Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.
Ø Undertake all mandatory OH&S training as required.
Ø Comply with any reasonable instructions, policies, procedures or safe work practices given by Intl. SOS in adhering to safe work procedures.
Ø Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
Ø Take reasonable care to ensure their own health and safety and the safety of others.
Ø To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible to their supervisor.
3. Other Duties
Ø Educate medical and non-medical staff in medical matters where relevant.
Ø Act as a medical escort when required for appropriate medical evacuations.
Ø Occasionally assist with locums in our medical clinics worldwide.
Ø Work within and promote all policies, procedures and corporate values.
Ø Be aware of SOS OH&S policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of these important areas of the business.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Ø Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in the field of, or practice of occupational health
Ø Licensed Nurse in the Philippines
