Our company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced PDF Prepress Specialist to join our team. This is a unique role that will require a specific set of skills and knowledge. We are looking for someone who has experience with pre-flighting PDF files, handling variable data, and is excited to learn about the unique technology used in printing.

Responsibilities:

Preflight and prepare customer files for press using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Handle variable data and data merging, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the production process
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to prepress, printing, and the web-to-print system
Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the prepress process
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure that print materials meet their specifications and expectations
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technology in prepress and printing
Train and support users on how to use the web-to-print system and other tools
Create and maintain documentation related to the prepress process

Requirements:

Experience in prepress and print production
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Knowledge of color management and color accuracy
Experience with large format printing and print finishing techniques
Understanding of preflighting and prepress processes
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of HTML and web design preferred
