Ruby on Rails Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ruby on Rails Full Stack Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in advancing our platform's core areas. As a key contributor, you will have the opportunity to work on our product and be involved in all stages of the development process, from ideation to implementation.
In this role, you will work on expanding our platform by developing highly performant APIs, building high throughput processing systems, and designing responsive interfaces. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing our platform's capabilities, providing a more seamless user experience and enabling us to better serve our clients.
To excel in this position, you should have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a deep understanding of web development principles and technologies. You should be familiar with modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Node.js, React, and Angular, and have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

?Your Responsibilities Will Include
-Improve and evolve our modern Ruby on Rails based applications
-Manage and deploy updates using various tools and platforms (GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker)
-Design and evolve the platform to scale to 100,000 transactions per minute
-Collaborate closely with other engineers to implement platform initiatives across teams
-Collaborate with external organizations to design and implement robust and performant integrations
-Employ secure coding practices
-Ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently

What You'll Need
-5+ years experience working with Ruby on Rails
-Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing in a continuous integration environment
-Experience using REST and/or GraphQL based APIs
-Experience with CSS & HTML
-Experienced using git and git hosting platforms for version control and code review
-AWS experience is a plus but not required to start
-Must be able to adapt to a work schedule that has a 6 hour overlap between 8AM to 5PM on a (UTC-7) timezone.
