Performance Coach

Position Summary:

The coach guides employees to create high-impact work and provides clarity and awareness about their desired career path. They will be the employee's accountability partner as well as provide regular feedback on the employee's performance. The ideal candidate should possess good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct coaching sessions with assigned coachees
Assist in department-related processes and activities
Provide guidance to employees on their ideal career path
Identify performance-related goals and objectives
Works collaboratively with coachee to problem solve and brainstorm solutions.
Works collaboratively with coachees to develop an agreed upon plan of action
Conduct performance-related activities that help in improving employee performance
Report and suggest to managers possible avenues of growth for their direct reports
Create initiatives or programs that will improve the overall processes of the department and that of the coachees
Provides clear and accurate constructive feedback in a way that empowers the coachee.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science/Engineering, Psychology, Communications, and the like
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has experience in conducting 1-1s with Direct Reports/Teammates
Has experience in handling people with different personalities and perspectives
A brief understanding of software development terminologies and workflows is a bonus
At least 2-3 years in a leadership role with current technical experience is a bonus
