Experienced PHP web developer urgently required to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced web developer with strong design skills supported by PHP, MySQL, HTML mark-up and CSS coding abilities to help to continue develop our UK based company.

It is essential that you can code in PHP, HTML and CSS and understand MySQL.

The applicant will be responsible for developing new websites and for updating and maintaining existing content for clients. The majority of our websites are developed in osCommerce and Wordpress so applicants with experience of these systems would be very highly considered, though if you have a good working knowledge of PHP these systems can easily be picked up so please don’t let this put you off applying.

Required skills & knowledge
• Knowledge to confidently use HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL.
• Good understanding of the English language.
• A confident level of Photoshop experience
• Ability to work both in a team and alone
• Ability to use initiative
• Ability to manage own time and workload
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be flexible in relation to working hours depending on business needs
• Experience in Dreamweaver

Skills which are also desirable but not required
• Ability to write & proof read web copy
• Appreciation & understanding of web usability and accessibility
• Experience in designing, developing and modifying osCommerce and Wordpress would be highly advantageous
• Any experience in other web technologies such as jQuery, AJAX etc

Salary is dependant upon experience and a good wage will be paid for the correct developer. We are a friendly expanding business and holiday time and work hours can be discussed further if you require to suit your individual needs.
