We are seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant/Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team and handle financial and administrative tasks across multiple small businesses.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, with a meticulous approach and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. This position involves managing financial records, payroll, and tax obligations, along with general administrative duties to support our operations.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Transaction reconciliation for accuracy
GST reconciliation and submission every two months
Preparation of staff timesheets and rosters
Bi-weekly payroll processing for five-Seven employees
Monthly calculation and preparation of commission payouts for five employees
Preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
Administrative Support
Requirements:
Professional experience in accounting and bookkeeping, ideally in New Zealand or with equivalent accounting standards
Familiarity with payroll processing, tax reconciliation, and financial reporting
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
