Finance Officer

Job Description
This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team. As an integral part of our company administration, you will be responsible for maintaining positive financial management, processing payroll, responding to finance queries, and providing stakeholders with insights and visibility into business performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining account and financial records, managing accounts receivables and payables, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate account and financial records
Processing payroll for all employees
Responding to finance queries from staff and stakeholders
Managing accounts receivables and collecting payment for outstanding invoices
Managing bills and account payables, paying suppliers and other stakeholders
Processing donations and sales commissions
Reporting subscription payments
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process
Reviewing P&L and conducting variance analysis
Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements
Supporting decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance.
Performing other finance and accounting tasks as assigned by management from time to time


Requirements
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant
At least 2 years of work experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and GL
Excellent analytical and planning skills
Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, Stax, Melio
8:00AM-5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
