Software Developer

Our ecommerce company is looking to hire a software developer. This is a new position in the company, so the tasks and responsibilities will be flexible for the first month or 2. After that, there should be a more consistent process and responsibilities after working together for a bit.

We collect and analyze a lot of data in our company. This involves pulling information from various sources, using our excel sheets to analyze the existing data, making decisions based on that data, and then recording the results from this. Then we rinse and repeat.

We are hoping to hire somebody in house to help us with this. We are looking for somebody who is an expert and experienced in these kinds of things.

Our first project will be to build an internal software that is based off of the spreadsheets we use.

We have a couple of sheets that have cells that are referenced to another sheet, and all talk together. The main categories we are looking at here involve the following:
Inventory
Marketing
Forecasting

Any impact on one of these fields, also impacts the others. We want to build out a software that would automate a lot of this, and eliminate a lot of the potential human error that comes from the way its setup right now. Right now, we have all the logic already laid out and set up in the spreadsheets, but as we plan on growing our product catalog from 30 products to over 200+ products, we need a system that is more reliable and less prone to human error.

We are looking to build software that can mimic the way we have our spreadsheets setup right ---------- addition, it should be easy to maintain and add additional products as and when it comes ---------- the future, we will also most likely want to add/change some functionality in the software, so it should be flexible and easy to add/remove features.

We would like to start with this project, and once done we can talk about future projects


We will need you to lay out the project outline, the timeline, and the other specifications needed to complete a project like ---------- pensation is open for negotiation. We can have something on a part time/full time or project/contract basis.

Our budget for monthly compensation for a full time position is approx PHP 60,000 inclusive of all bonuses, to give a reference point.
