Data Analyst

4ocean is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to report into the Director of IT. We are looking for a long term fit with someone who is focused on personal growth, delivering results, and has a passion for the ocean and environment.

The ideal candidate will pull data from various sources (ie; Netsuite, FarApp, Celigo, Shipstation) to analyze and visualize the data. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with a strong analytical background and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Pulling data from multiple sources and integrating it into a cohesive dataset
- Utilizing different Data Analysis tools to analyze and visualize data for key stakeholders
- Continuously identifying areas for improvement and implementing new data analysis methods
- Receives, gathers, analyzes, and organizes information from multiple sources.
- Ensures completeness of received information and reconciles inconsistencies.
- Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
- Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures.
- Transforming e-commerce data into operational insights.
- Researching competitors, alternative markets, and opportunities in the e-commerce space.
- Brainstorming ideas to enhance and transform the company's e-commerce approach.
- Developing e-commerce solutions in conjunction with marketing and IT ---------- cation and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other data aggregators
- Experience working with SQL, Power BI and Tableau
- Work experience as a data analyst or business analyst with an ecommerce company
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
- Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
