Client Relations/ General VA

We are looking for a Client Relations General VA to join a rapidly growing mental health practice based in the US! Our company centralizes care for Black, Indigenous and other People of Color as well as LGBTQIA2S+ communities, so we are hiring someone from these communities who is also social justice aligned to apply for this position!

Required experience, knowledge and capabilities:
- Mental/Behavioral Healthcare background is REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Fast internet, so Ring Central phone app could work on your phone without issues.
- Strong command of the English language, both speaking and writing.
- Ability to work QUICKLY, efficiently and independently in connecting clients to providers.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Answering client inquiries via phone and email
- Connecting clients to providers
- Adding client information to TheraNest (our electronic health records system).
- Update Google sheet tracker daily
- Create daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Checking eligibility and benefits on insurance websites
- Managing provider schedules in TheraNest

Compensation: $5.00 per hour USD with likelihood of increase over time.

Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM New York time (EST) to start with likelihood of increase in hours.

Supervisor: Reports to CEO and Director of Operations
