The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing associate must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Objectives of this Role
Assist in the development and the end-to-end implementation of both Old School Labs brand activities
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, and content
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring company success
Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a knowledge base, Google Data Studio,
Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and novel marketing ideas and tactics with the team
Responsibilities
Execute activities within marketing channels by deploying assets into each of the major touchpoints per channel.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to update and manage master marketing, blog, and social media calendars so tasks stay on track and on
Manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to the marketing leadership.
Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Experience with research using data analytics software
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Prior work experience in an e-commerce company
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the marketing department, preferably as an assistant or coordinator.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Working knowledge of HTML and design and
Prior experience in the health & fitness and/or supplement industry in a marketing department
Interest in health & fitness and/or nutrition
Experience using Asana, Google Drive, and Slack
