JOB OVERVIEW

We are recruiting a Content Writer who will report to the CEO.

You would work online with the business owners & have the option of working from our office near Cebu IT Park. Applicants must have 2 years experience in a similar role & be a graduate of a Mass Communication bachelor degree.
The applicant will be required to have your own computer, webcam and microphone to work from with a full internet connection. This vacancy is for a long term position with hours of 40 per week.
We would like to know if you have any experience with the tasks listed below and your application / cover letter/email will address which items you have experience and the extent of that experience. It is not essential that you would be proficient in all duties as training on all aspects will be provided in person. However, it is of utmost importance have all the skills listed below.
Organization Summary:
We are a small internet marketing organization based in Cebu City. We market our own private labelled physical products to American consumers.
Duties include:
Write product descriptions, product inserts & product packaging content;
Research keywords and topics.
Maintaining social accounts, leaving comments on social media
Monitoring and maintenance of online selling platform
Customer and supplier contact
Market research
Documenting work flows and processes
Coordinating projects with other virtual staff
Daily reporting of task completed and issues encountered
Occasional brainstorming sessions
Ensure all information is backed up.
Write and upload blog posts and help with publishing schedules;
Make small purchases, equipped with a prepaid credit card;
Create and manage reports for website sales and product shipping;
Check in with other team members, almost like a project manager;
Write 500- to 1,200- word blog posts;
Write articles and press releases.;
Write website content.

The skills needed to succeed are:
Excellent english: reading, writing and listening.
Being able to follow specific directions
Wordpress knowledge (although not essential as training can be provided)
Having an excellent customer service manner
Competent with spreadsheet and word processor documents
Use of Skype to communicate
Organised
Able to use initiative
Able to handle accountability and take responsibility of keeping staff, customers and suppliers satisfied with professionalism
Being a team member

Qualifications:
· Attention to detail and a tolerance for working on multiple projects simultaneously
· Demonstrated commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis
· Excellent verbal, written and keyboard skills
· Ability to take initiative, multi-task, work well under pressure and work efficiently in the absence of managers
· High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word and MS Excel.

Requirements:
- MASS COMMUNICATIONS bachelor degree
- 2 year experience.

Work Hours:
8am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Salary: Php17,000 up to Php21,000 depending on experience.
Start: As soon as possible
