Full Stack Developer

Position: We plan to hire a diligent Full Stack Developer to help us scale our agency. Your primary responsibility would be improving and expanding our existing partner portal web application (React, Material UI, AWS, Zoho). We also need you to assist in task automation (Zoho Deluge, Flow). Your portal responsibilities would include ensuring UI/UX feasibility, building new features, and connecting visual elements to user interactions and server-side infrastructure; this would also involve task automation based on user inputs. Our ideal candidate has an eye for design and the ability to create clean, sharp, and responsive layouts from designs with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Company: oxbird is a white-label agency in the digital advertising space. Our portal is designed to enable our partner agencies to manage PPC services for their clients (see screenshots on our website homepage). As we continue to grow our partnerships, the demands on our partner portal are growing and we want to scale its functionality while automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and organize data.

Reports to: Director of Operations

Responsibilities involved:

Develop new front-end features and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Improve performance of the main front-end portal, esp. speed and scalability
Enhance existing features and implement bug fixes in existing code
Create integrated feature solutions that address technical back-end requirements, internal staff needs, and customer front-end requests
Self-document technical development processes and feature requirements
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions
Update existing designs to incorporate a mobile responsive design
Assist in the development of scripts and automation to connect Zoho applications
Experience required:

Full stack JavaScript engineer (React + Material UI, Node.js, Express.js)
AWS set up and management (Amplify, Cognito, Lambda, etc.)
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Experience preferred:

Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
Sound understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, esp. GitHub and VS Code
Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Familiarity with Zoho’s suite of business apps and Zoho Deluge coding
Candidate qualifications:

High school diploma (bachelor's degree in related field preferred)
Full stack web development experience
Experience with a responsive design for desktop / mobile
Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Interest in learning new tools and technologies
