Internal Accountant/Finance analyst

We are an Australian-based construction company looking for an executive assistant and internal accountant who provides specialized or general analysis support in various accounting functions and other Financial/Administrative tasks to the executive team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain proper record at all times
- Analysis of balance sheet accounts and control accounts reconciliations
- Profit and loss review
- Monthly financial reports and statements
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
- Payment preparation
- Processing payroll and superannuation
- Additional ad-hoc tasks

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work at 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM AEDT timezone
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Internal Accountant/Finance Analyst
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with business processes, can follow workflow processes and make suggestions for improvement
- Proactive, switch-on, can multi-task, is organised, fast learner, highly technology savvy, reliable, and warm-hearted
