JOB OVERVIEW

What are you going to do?

As a DevOps Engineer, you are an important part of the client’s operations. As a real engineer, you want to know how systems work and how to use these systems. You will have the broad general knowledge to help contribute to the automation, further development, and stability of client platforms. As an important pivot in their operations, you will have every opportunity to increase your knowledge and obtain certifications.

Together with other colleagues you work in the Technology Operations department and the Public Cloud team of our client that is currently being formed. You will be responsible for the processing of support tickets and resolving issues as well as helping to set up environments that are as "resilient" as possible. To best help customers you will be expected to know in detail how the client’s platforms work.

Qualifications:

-Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Software Engineering, or a related field;
-Passion for DevOps automation;
-Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (Certificate is required)
-Excellent English communication and coordination skills.

Who are we looking for?

As a person with a broad knowledge of DevOps Engineering. You are of course not expected to know everything, after all, that is impossible. You will have strong knowledge of Azure, are not averse to software development, and have a mindset for automation. Your colleagues and customers will expect you to have a vision and opinion about where the technology is going. You are therefore open to discussion and changes when new ideas are presented, but there is of course plenty of room to come up with ideas yourself.

You must be a team player and have good communication skills.

The Client?

The Client is crazy about everything that has to do with coding, design, cloud (hosting), data and innovation, and creating a friendly atmosphere to work in.

The client company was started by gamers with decent computer skills, then grew into a group of 300 techies and creatives. So fun is a larger part of the client’s culture.
