Journalist/Copywriter (researched articles)

Then you've found the right job posting! We are looking for journalists/copywriters to join our team who pride themselves in researched and interesting content -- We are creating content where journalism and SEO meet.

We look at content a little differently -- do we want our content to rank using SEO keywords? Definitely. But we also want people to use our content as a benchmark -- to bookmark it and print it out -- just like a newspaper.

Things to note about it:

It's broken up with some typical SEO-type (it could probably be better) headings
It's written in a friendly manner to a real human reader who wants to learn time blocking and doesn't read like a research paper.
But then, check out the bottom Resources & References section at the bottom. We pride ourselves and really informing our readers with Studies, news article references, tools, etc.


About us:

We are a Productivity & Systems for business consultancy launching a new type of website where we want to flood the internet with the 'New York Times' of Productivity & Systems for entrepreneurs and businesses and we want people on our team who love crafting awesome articles that people want to read (and that they'll search for, of course).


About you:

Very good research skills.
Proficient US English journalist/copywriter (C2 level English is REQUIRED.)
Proficient in Google Docs and ideally WordPress

Preferred but not required: Canva/basic graphic design for the articles to break them up.

Here's how the position will work:

You will be provided a list of keywords we’d like to rank for and blog titles. You will be responsible for researching each topic and creating a brief that includes the outline of the article as well as the links and sources/references for each section for approval prior to writing the article.
Articles must be more than 1000 words.

You must also be comfortable sticking to deadlines provided.

Our content is 100% human written and we want to keep it that way so we do ask that the sample you submit is 100% human generated and 100% unique.
