PICPA (Accountant) with USA Financial Statement Preparation and GAAP Experience

We are hiring a full time PICPA (Accountant) with USA Financial Statement Preparation experience. Excellent accounting skills and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles proficiency is essential.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 years’ experience in Financial Statement Preparation using US GAAP.
Experienced in preparing Notes to the Financial Statements.
A background in auditing financial statements at a senior or above level is a bonus.
You must be able to prove membership in ---------- TAILIED RESPONSIBILITIES:

1, Preparing financial statements for clients using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
2. Communicating with clients to answer questions, as well as communicating with them to obtain missing information.
3. You will use ---------- as a CRM to assign tasks to others, as well as to track the progress of tasks which are assigned to you. We will provide training for this application.
4. Depending on the client's needs, Financial Statements may be prepared on a GAAP Basis, Tax Basis, Cash Basis, or an Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA.)
5. Prepare Notes to Financial Statements in accordance with US GAAP.
6. Prepare excellent workpapers and reconciliations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Excellent proficiency in the following software applications:
a. QuickBooks Online and Desktop, or other high-level accounting software.
b. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
c. Adobe Acrobat.
d. Overall, excellent computer skills.
2. Proficient with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
3. Ability to prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
4. Ability to prepare workpapers which support the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements.
5. Supervisory skills.


6. SOFT SKILLS:

a. Extremely organized, with a very close attention to detail.
b. An extremely high work ethic, as well as high moral standards.
c. You must be dependable, both in showing up to work daily and on-time, as well as getting tasks done in a timely manner.

Work Schedule::

This is a full-time position,. We are located in the Eastern United States, and you will be required to work during our business hours Monday through Friday. We are GMT -5.0, which is generally 13 hours behind the Philippines time.

After a 6 month probationary period, you will qualify for the following:

7 days of Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO must be used according to our company policies.
We honor most Filipino holidays, and we also recognize your birthday as a holiday.
13th month pay, earned at 1/12 for each month worked.

Pay and Training:

You will receive training on preparing US Income Tax returns, as well as using professional tax software.
We pay on the 15th and 30th/31st.
We give bonuses, based on performance.
Any work performed on a Saturday is paid a 30% premium.
Any work performed beyond 8 hours per days is paid at a 25% premium.
We provide company paid training.
We pay for your professional memberships, such as PICPA

Equipment:

All workers are expected to own modern computers, webcams and microphones.
