Take-Off Estimator

About Us:
Radix Fire Protection, Inc. is an established fire protection company serving Southern California since 2002. We provide in-house design, installation, testing, and maintenance of all types of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and special hazard systems.

Job Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Take-off Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and assisting with proposal preparation for various fire protection projects. Position Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Conduct accurate and efficient quantity take-offs from construction plans and specifications
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment costs for fire protection systems
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for fire protection projects
• Collaborate with project managers and other tea ---------- mbers to develop complete and accurate proposals
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, fire protection methods, and materials pricing
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and clarify project requirements

Qualifications:
• 3 + years of experience in a construction-related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications -This is a MUST.
• Proficiency in cost estimating and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
