Senior Full Stack Developer (Part-time, 10 hours a week)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at ---------- . This is a part-time role, requiring 10-15 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the technical direction of our online language exchange platform and mentoring interns through slack. This role will require strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Our stack includes React, Firebase, SCSS and a WebRTC platform such as Agora, Jitsi, 100ms or Twilio.

Responsibilities:

Advise and mentor interns on software development best practices
Set technical direction for the project and ensure it aligns with company goals
Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features using React, Firebase, SCSS and a WebRTC platform such as Agora, Jitsi, 100ms or Twilio
Review pull requests and provide feedback to ensure code quality
Communicate with users and stakeholders over Slack to gather requirements and address any issues
Requirements:

Strong experience with full stack development, including proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with React, Firebase, SCSS and a WebRTC platform such as Agora, Jitsi, 100ms or Twilio
Experience with software architecture and design patterns
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Excellent communication and mentorship skills
Ability to work 10 hours a week and have access to a computer
