Shed Estimator, Detailer, Drafter, Architect, Engineer

SteelSmart Pty Ltd is looking for a Shed Estimator to join our growing team. This is a full-time work from home position initially. This job requires the staff member to be online full time and match Australian working hours. (Only 2 Hours ahead of Philippines)

The Role:

The Estimator will use our custom 3d shed designer software to provide shed quotes for clients.

You will work closely with our internal sales team to manage the sale process from a database of potential customers, using our CRM to convert initial inquiry ‘s to sales.

We understand that you may not have specific experience in this field or industry, but we will offer training, development and ---------- cation & Experience

This position would suit someone with a Bachelor's/College Degree or experience in the following fields,

Drafting
Engineer
Estimator
Steel Detailer
Architect
Building Designer

Additionally, it would be helpful if you have;
• CAD experience with Autocad or similar
• Are self-motivated and results orientated
• Have great communication skills in written and verbal English
• Be detail oriented and updating our CRM with each job.
• Be proactive and work well unsupervised.
• Previous experience with cold formed portal buildings
• Experience with hot rolled steel buildings
• Previous with working with Australian clients in the building field.
• Analytical, basic understanding of mathematics. Ability to calculate area
• Basic understanding of engineering and architectural drawing
• Current or previous experience within the building or construction industry
