Ad image creator - search for unusual images on line and then modify them for effect

Do you enjoy searching on-line for compelling / unusual images?

We have a need for creative image maker to provide the following types of images:

1. Images of objects (mainly fruit / food) that are creatively adjusted to be slightly unrecognisable – to have the effect on people that they think they know what it is, but then they’re not really sure: see examples below

2. Intriguing or thought provoking images Note: these will need to relate somehow to the product that we’re creating ads for. see examples below




3. Intelligent / strange – makes people say hmmm. see examples below


Please also confirm your rate per adjustment of the image eg: if asked to make it “monotone” or add / reduce colour, provide effects etc – what is the cost rate?

What software would you use?

We’re looking for someone who has a real interest in creating unusual images and who will eventually understand exactly what we’re looking for – and go hunt down the images and create the look we’re
trying to achieve. This could end up being a 20hr per month job.

Extra good if the candidate knows how to draw good illustrations (or has friend who can) – but this is not essential: see examples below:
