As you read above, our company is growing. We’re a tight-knit team that relies on each other to get the job done on time and on budget. We’re also very supportive of one another and are constantly helping each other get through any obstacles we face. We’re motivated. We’re driven.
We also believe in constantly improving our systems. We believe, “Just because it works, doesn’t mean it can’t work better.” That’s part of the reason we write such long job ads. They tend to filter most people out. We only work with people who are committed to following through and finishing what they start!
You’ll need….
Internet connectivity, a laptop, and access to all regular communication channels.
A ‘get it done’ attitude: if you don’t know it, learn it. If you don’t get it, ask.
Some questions you may have...
Is this a full-time job?
Yes it is. We expect a full 40 hour work week and we have systems that track that.
Do I have to work certain hours?
For the most part, no you don’t. We allow everyone on our team to work when they’d like (within reason). We ask they fill out a calendar with their work hours so we know when they’ll be available, but those hours are pretty much up to you. There are times, however, when a particular project needs attention and then will ask you to adjust those hours. Fortunately those times are rare.
For the first 6 weeks though we’ll have a set schedule for efficient training.
Is this a long time position?
Yes absolutely. We would like to continue working with you for years to come.
How will you communicate with me?
We use Skype, Slack and plenty of screencasts. We track projects in asana and will show you how to use any of the systems you’re not familiar with.
Can I work for others?
We are a committed team so we ask that you commit to only working with us.
What exactly will I be working on?
Community management, social media posting & responding, article writing, customer support, and affiliate support. Never a dull moment!
What if I don’t have experience in them?
We hire for attitude! As long as you feel comfortable writing in English, you’re comfortable learning new technology, open to (sometimes critical) feedback, and you’re curious about learning these skills we’re good.
