CAD Designer (With Graphic Design experience)

An exciting and long-term opportunity for a CAD /3D Rendering Specialist to join a growing and dynamic Australian-based Manufacturer.

The role will be responsible for creating 3D products for baths, spa baths, showers, toilets and other bathroom accessories using various modelling and texturing techniques. You will be involved in the design conceptualization and executing the client’s design requirements in the highest quality.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to understand complex calculations and have sound knowledge of building and safety regulations. Outstanding CAD operators are disciplined, open to collaboration, and also possess manual drawing ---------- sential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with design teams to plan and visualize projects
• Presenting and explaining visuals to colleagues and clients
• Ensuring all ideas are represented as accurately and attractively as possible
• Assisting with planning decisions
• Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Create conceptual layouts for project visualization.
• Analyzing 3D arts and graphics and suggesting improvements
• Creating detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software.
• Running tests on 3D models before prototyping
• Convert 2D image sketch to 3D model
• Communicating with clients to understand their design requirements
• Conceptualizing and developing design ideas
• Discussing project timelines and progress with clients
• Examining and troubleshooting any design issues
