RUBY ON RAILS

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
You will work with the current Ruby On Rails platform and will have the ability to lead a team in developing new features, address any scaling or security issues.
Finally, You will also work closely with the rest of our amazing team to drive our technology arm and your ideas will strongly influence our technology decisions for the future, helping to improve strategies with not only technology, but also how tech can help improve user experience, operations, marketing. Requirements
Two to three years hands-on development experience with Ruby on Rails
Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS & JQuery.
A very good understanding of testing for application issues, performance, scalability and stability
High level of experience in working with cross border applications
Can collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and develop new features
working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
Strong problem solving skills, should be able to research and understand an undocumented setup and application
Must be willing to work in a team environment effectively but being an individual contributor at the same time
Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem solving and thinking skills
Client-facing experience – can interact with project managers and attend virtual project meetings
Take strategic ideas and help design ways to implement them
