Wordpress Specialist

We’re looking for a Wordpress Specialist to join us.

You are a highly motivated self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. You have excellent people and communication skills to confidently work with global stakeholders and cross functional teams.

Your Role:
1. Design and develop custom WordPress websites, including the creation of custom themes and plugins
2. Customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific requirements
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with WordPress websites
4. Optimize WordPress websites for performance and security
5. Manage and maintain updates for WordPress core, themes, and plugins
6. Create and implement backups for WordPress websites
7. Keep abreast of new developments in the WordPress platform and stay up-to-date with best practices
8. Collaborate with other teams, such as content and operations team, to ensure that websites meet the needs of the business

Your Responsibilities
1. Work with content team to translate requirements, content and design mockups into fully functioning websites/web pages
2. Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyse and improve SEO performance
3. Server technical fixes on websites (Wordpress)
4. Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
5. Troubleshoot and carry out on-page optimisations
