JOB OVERVIEW

Functional Nutriments, a small and fast-growing nutraceutical firm is looking to hire the perfect telephone representative with strong customer service, sales and computer skills. We have a perfect rating with the Better Business Bureau (see A+ rating) and we want to maintain it.

This is an ideal position for the right person. Thanks to our VOIP telephone and web-based CRM systems, this work is based in your home office, not at our headquarters. It is a virtual position which means that you must have a quiet home office with a dependable, fast Internet connection and a computer that is less than 2 years old. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9AM-6PM Eastern US.

You must speak fluent American English and have a very dependable power and Internet connection to accommodate VOIP.

Read on, especially if you are a dog lover. Why a dog lover? Our company is a bio-medical company that is focused on the health of dogs. As a team member, your love of dogs will be key in your communication with our customers and medical professionals who call our offices daily.

As a virtual receptionist, you will be the first voice people hear when they call us. You will be a professional, courteous ambassador for our company and our various brands. Through our VOIP phone system, you will receive inbound calls, assist customers with orders, fulfill those orders using our web-based systems, and answer general product questions.

You will also be responsible for making outbound calls and sending emails to current customers to nurture our relationship with them, provide them new information, and take re-orders. This aspect of the job is very important because it requires that you can think fast on your feet, listen for subtle cues, and provide an exceptional customer service experience for our existing clients.

As appropriate, you will take messages for senior staff members and route calls accordingly. You will utilize our call center computer technology to input, track and report customer’s issues. In addition, you will be trained and expected to assist in a number of other administrative functions.

We use state-of-the-art web-based systems including Ring Central, Infusionsoft, Helpscout, Quickbooks and Basecamp. You do not need to already be familiar with those systems, but you should be comfortable in an online environment. Again, you don’t need to be a computer geek because we will train you, but you should be very comfortable in front of a computer using today’s latest technology. (This is why a fast computer with a speedy Internet connection in a quiet environment is so important.)

REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum 3 years of recent customer service or call center experience required.
* High level of PC knowledge including familiarity with a newer Mac or Windows 7 or above environment.
* Outstanding multi-tasking abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) required.
* Strong listening skills, professional telephone manner and ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
* Ability to get along with others, accept constructive feedback and exhibit a positive attitude.
* Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
* Must be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm.

Your home office space must be free of distractions and noise with a fast, dependable Internet connection and late-model PC. Must also have a USB headset to take calls with no external noise or distractions.
