Social Media Marketing Assistant

Hello there!

I’m looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant who’s social media savvy, with a creative mindset, who can think outside the box and can create unique, meaningful, and high-quality social media posts for a personal business/brand.

This position is full-time and will require work in EST. Ideally between 8 am - 5 pm EST Monday - Friday.

Experience requirement:

- 1 to 2 years of Social Media Management
- 2 years experience in FB Ads
- 1 to 2 years of Graphic Design in Canva/Photoshop (Basic to Intermediate)
- 1 to 2 years of effective Copywriting (Writing Savvy Captions)
- Experience using project management software required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver timely/efficient results
- Able to present information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to do most of their work independently with minimal supervision


Key Responsibilities:

- Work alongside the Operations Manager
- Fully manage the social media presence of the business incl. content creation on IG, FB, Twitter, and TikTok
- Plan an engaging calendar of content for social media, work on graphics for the monthly calendar
- Ensure content created falls within the company’s guidelines and is branded with the correct business logos and colors
- Write captions, do hashtag research
- Post and schedule content on IG, FB, Twitter, and TikTok
- Coordinate marketing efforts with the members of the team
- Maintain an up-to-date task list in the company’s project management software; strive for no overdue tasks at all times
