Embedded Firmware Engineer

A successful candidate should be able to develop, debug and integrate robust embedded software as part of a small agile team.
Specifications

This position requires the following:
-Qualified to a 4-year degree level in an engineering discipline.
-Strong programming skills in C.
-Basic knowledge of electrical terms such as voltage, resistance and current.
-Possess strong communication skills to communicate design requirements and challenges.
-Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continuously improve knowledge.
-Capable of working to deadlines and following a planned schedule of work.

Responsibilities
-This position will be responsible for the following activities.
-Develop user interfaces on a touch screen product
-Design and enhance tests for analyzing wound component devices.
-Build communications stacks for remote control of instrumentation
-Generate documentation of code via strong commenting
-Test code developed code to ensure reliability before release
-Participate in discussions of problems and assist in arriving at solutions that fit within the framework of the project.
