OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior 3D Designer who will assist in the various content creation pipelines here at Ballucci. Your days will be spent creating 3D assets on various projects across our Product Development, Marketing, and Creative Teams. As a Sr 3D Designer / Artist, you are responsible for developing top-quality real-time and photorealistic assets that reflect the high production standards of digital assets at Ballucci. You will collaborate daily with the 3D Manager to plan projects and track your daily tasks. You will manage, evaluate, and guide an exceptional team of outsourced vendors to deliver compelling interactive experiences for 3D & AR.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build real-time 3D assets using various hardware and software
• Collaborate with 3D Manager to control quality standards for 3D assets which are produced from outsourced vendors
• Attend daily standups with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor and discuss the development and execution of ongoing projects
• Identify and conceive essential features to improve and optimize 3D pipelines and communicate them to key stakeholders
• Review asset submissions to verify quality and confirm deliverables follow specific workflow standards
• Actively learn and stay up to date on capabilities/limitations of emerging technologies and applications for 3D Models from a technical standpoint
• Mentor and develop Junior 3D Designer/ Artists— and help create a dynamic, fun, and supportive culture for our Particles

CORE COMPETENCIES
• Expert in Traditional Modeling workflows using Autodesk Fusion 360, 3dsMax, Solidworks
• Expert in High Poly Sculpting workflows
• Expert in 3D asset creation for real-time assets (AR, VR, Game Development)
• Detail Focused - keen eye for judging the quality of 3D assets, composition, lighting, scene assembly and photorealism is a MUST
• Good communication skills - help others and ask for help when needed
• Great team-player attitude - flexible with new ideas, being open to direction and changes. Listening to teammates opinions and feedback
• Deadline oriented - able to manage and organize work so you meet all deadlines and are able to adjust when changes happen

TOOLS REQUIRED
• Autodesk Fusion 360, 3dsMax, Solidworks HTML/ XML
• rendering in Blender, V-Ray
• Photogrammetry workflow
• Other technology and apps that will be required
• Any OS computer/ laptop with at least a processor of 6GB RAM
• Own ISP with at least 20MBPS of speed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of applicable experience as a Sr 3D Designer / Artist
• Proficiency in Traditional Modeling workflows using Autodesk Fusion 360, 3dsMax, Solidworks
• Proficient in rendering in Blender, V-Ray
• Proficiency in High Poly Sculpting workflows
• Proficiency in industry-standard Texturing workflows
• Experience in 3D asset creation for real-time assets (AR, VR, Game Development)
• 3D art portfolio of compelling digital work
• Experience in other disciplines in VFX/Game Development (Engineering, Animation, VFX)
• Knowledge of Photogrammetry workflow
• Experience in animation for media and marketing applications
• Passionate about making shopping for a beautiful space radically easy
