Direct Supervisor: GM for Administration

Duties & Responsibilities:

Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team; handles a team of 6 to 8 people
Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs
Ensures cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
Ability to create and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections, budgeting and report against the same
Providing recommendations to the Director and management of the company
Tracks and drives financial targets, raises issues promptly
Advising on long-term business and financial planning, pricing, business strategy, and allocation of funding
Driving financial strategy and hiring needs
Advising long term business and financial planning
Providing recommendations to the Director
Work Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM NZT
Educational /Professional Requirement:

Graduate of Accounting
Should be a CPA
Has at least 5 years experience as an Accounting Manager
Qualifications / Skills:

Above average written and verbal communication skills - English
Proficient with Google Workspace / GSuite, experience with Xero is an advantage
An absolute commitment to customer service and follow-up
A positive "can-do" attitude
Ability to implement own systems, good organisational and time-management abilities
High level of attention to detail
Follow instructions independently
Honest & Proactive - goes an extra mile
Has a high sense of responsibility, dependability, work ethics and integrity

Technical Requirements:

For this role, you will need your own & backup laptop/desktop with video (i5 or higher) and dual monitor
Internet Connection of not less than 50MBPS
